7.Standard: GBT554-1996.
GBT554-1996 is a Chinese standard for marine double bollards. Type A refers to the design of the bollard, which features a symmetrical shape with two horns or posts extending from a central base. Double bollards are commonly used in marine environments to secure ships and other vessels to docks or piers.
The Type A double bollard is designed to withstand high loads and provide a secure mooring point for vessels. The bollard is typically made of cast iron or steel and is designed to be bolted to a concrete or steel foundation. The horns or posts of the bollard are designed to provide a secure point of attachment for ropes or cables.
The GBT554-1996 standard specifies the dimensions, materials, and testing requirements for Type A double bollards. This includes requirements for the strength and durability of the bollard, as well as the methods for testing these properties. The standard also specifies requirements for the marking and labeling of the bollard, as well as the documentation that must be provided with each bollard.
