Description: Mooring steel wire rope is used to fasten the ship to the offshore installation, wharf, berth or other ships. It is usually made of high quality high strength cold drawn galvanized steel wire. The commonly used structure of the mooring wire rope is 6x36 or 6X41(6x36 class) with the wires in each strand of equal lay and the strands of conventional right hand lay. Mooring steel wire rope with an IWRC or an IWSC are more strength and stability than the wire rope with fiber core.
