Marine Side Scuttle is a kind of hinged opening type with deadlight. Two types with general type and fire-resistant type are available to choose. It is approved by GB/T 14413-93 standard.
Certificates: CCS, BV, DNV, LR, KR, NK, etc.
Four types of this hinged side scuttle: type A-SB, type A-SW, type B-SB, and type B-SW.
Installation:
Type A: It is installed below the cargo freeboard deck of a marine ship, above the full load waterline, where the side opening is allowed, and where watertight and air tightness are required
Type B: It is installed on the side of the ship or the end of superstructure above the bulkhead deck or freeboard deck of a passenger ship.Both sides and ends of the first floor building on the freeboard deck of non passenger ships.
