Marine anchors mainly consist of anchor crown, pin shaft, anchor claw, anchor handle, anchor rod (also known as crossbar or stabilizer rod), and anchor shackle.
1. Throwing method for the marine anchor
(1) There are two types of bow-throwing anchors: throwing single anchor and throwing double anchor. (3) Throwing anchor at the bow and stern, When the ship is subjected to cycles of rising and falling tides, and the moving water area is restricted, and in certain special circumstances, it is used.
2. The type for the marine anchor:
(1) Stocked anchors - Anchors with crossbars are stocked anchors (admiralty anchors, single fluke anchors, Japanese stocked anchors, etc.).
